MANUEL-TURIZO

Manuel Turizo (full name Manuel Turizo Zapata) is an urbano and reggaeton singer songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Colombia whose trademark is his smooth buttery tenor singing voice. The global recognition of his music has helped him break into mainstream Latin music. Una Lady Como Tu from 2016 won a Colombian Kids Choice Award as Favorite Song for the year 2017. The singer released his first long-player ADN with the Sony-owned company based in Medellin, La Industria Inc. The album reached number 8 in the Top Latin Albums Chart. Vaina Loca was one of the Top Five hit for Ozuna and him the year after. He released Dopamina, his chart-topping second album, in the year following. Then, in 2021 he sang a duet in 2021 with TINI on her hit song Maldita Foto. The 2023 album of 2000 with the massively popular La Bachata. Turizo was brought up within a musical family, because both his mother and younger brother are musicians. In his interviews, he's talked about participating in music as compulsory. When he was young, he instructed to play the piano, guitar and the ukulele. The first choice for his career was to be a veterinarian, but his brother Julian encouraged him to learn how to sing under a Cuban instructor. What happened was that he discovered his own ability to sing and also altered the direction of his life.
